Input your personal information (use preferred name and pronouns)

Select membership category: Education Support Professional

Input workplace information

Employer: “Virginia Tech University”

Work Location: Your academic program (degree title on your diploma when you graduate, you can check this in HokieSpa)

Primary position: “Graduate Asst”

Hours worked: “Half Time” (we are technically only contracted for 20 hours)

Hire date: Date you were accepted to Virginia Tech

Employee ID: VT ID # (begins in 90-)

SSN4: Last 4 digits of your SSN (International students without an SSN, please contact vtgraduatelaborunion@gmail.com for assistance!)

Dues are $17.45 per month, automatic payment is withdrawn on the 16th of the month
